VineView approached Tensen to help develop their PinPoint RTK GPS receiver device, used for high precision scouting applications within wine vineyards in both North America and Europe. 

The device is designed to be highly durable, weather resistant, features programmable buttons, and a high precision GNSS antenna.  This is critical when vineyards want to mark a specific vine within a field of hundreds.

Our scope for this product included design for manufacturing, packaging, supplier management, and contract manufacturing. (Assembly and end-of-line testing.)

We took an aesthetic concept to a fully manufactured product within 6 months including tooling and initial production. The enclosure of the device needed to be waterproof, and through over-molding include a rubberized exterior transitioning smoothly to textured plastic.  Our experience in design for injection molding was key to this program.
