Friend Global Inc. partnered with Tensen to bring one of the world’s first personalized wearable AI devices from concept to market-ready production.

The client approached us with functional electronics and an early prototype enclosure. Tensen applied rigorous Design for Manufacturing (DFM) practices to evolve the housing into a mass-producible, injection-molded assembly that maintained structural integrity and protected sensitive components. Alongside the core device, we designed the full packaging experience as well as the necklace and pendant system that enabled the AI module to be worn comfortably and securely.

Beyond design, Tensen led the complete new product introduction. We released manufacturing-ready design packages to vendors, validated and audited suppliers, and established a reliable, scalable supply chain tailored to the unique needs of the product. Our team built an in-house assembly and packaging line optimized for efficiency and rapid volume expansion — enabling Friend Global to launch confidently with high-quality units from day one.

This project showcased Tensen’s end-to-end capabilities: transforming early concepts into manufacturable products, building resilient supply chains, designing consumer-facing packaging and accessories, and standing up full production lines under disciplined quality systems.
