FORKLIFT BATTERY POWER SYSTEMS

Tensen Design was contracted by Electrovaya to design, and assist with the design, of a number of features on the ELivate 26V, 36V, and 48V systems. These include:

Design of the steel enclosure. Constructed of steel plates over 1 inch thick in some areas, these enclosures seal the internal components behind a safe barrier in addition to acting as a counterweight for the forklift itself.
Component placement within the enclosure.
Bus bar design.
Design of gasket sealed surfaces around the top and side access plates.
